Warner Robins, Ga. (September 7, 2018) – TCS Aerospace LLC, a long-time local aerospace company, was acquired by New York based private equity firm American Industrial Partners June 30, 2018, in a $550 million deal. The company was purchased from L3 Technologies, along with Vertex Aerospace LLC, Crestview Aerospace LLC, and Flight International LLC, to establish a global one-stop-shop solution, providing full aftermarket aerospace services. TCS Aerospace now operates under Vertex Aerospace, a vertically integrated aerospace company headquartered in Madison, Mississippi, with operations in 100 locations worldwide. The Georgia based company’s Vice President Marian Fraley praises the formation of the Vertex conglomerate that is now able to offer global aircraft technical support, integrated supply chain management, aero‐structures modification and fabrication services, and assembly and engineering solutions for both fixed and rotary‐wing aircraft. “With TCS now under the Vertex Aerospace umbrella, we can offer fully integrated support solutions to provide cradle-to-grave service for our customers’ aircraft,” said Fraley. “Vertex’s agility is in line with the quick reaction mentality that has distinguished TCS over the last 30 years.” In the spirit of the “Vertex Velocity” model, on August 31, 2018, TCS was awarded Quality Management Systems certificates ISO 9000:2015 and AS9100:2016 after upgrading its ISO 9001:2008 standards within less than one year to meet recently revised criteria. The National Quality Assurance agency’s third party verification insures TCS provides safe and quality aircraft design engineering, logistic support, and technical services to its customers, as it has since its inception in 1988.
